Soot Cleaning what you need to know

Cleaning is more cost effective then replacing most situations.

Cleaning Services: Each fire or soot damage is different and will required testing for soot in rooms, inside dresser, inside cabinets and other area to determine what needs to be cleaned. If there are any personal items you wish to remove, please do so prior to services. Our staff is not able to handle firearms or ammo please relocated them away from the work area. The staff will do their best to place items back the way we found them please ask the technician for any assistance in relocated items if in the wrong area.

Goal of Cleaning:  Our methods are based on the foundation of attempting to clean before replacement to keep the job moving smoothly, cost down and reduce stress of repurchasing items. Our objective is to return the item to preloss condition. During the course of our service if there are items that we recommend to be replaced due to the cost of cleaning vs replacement cost or due to soot was present after cleaning. You should then document and submit the items for replacement to your insurance.

Other Customers: In the event of another customer emergency arise we will need to excuse our self to service the emergency, we will return at our soonest availability.

Odor: If the job requires the use of odor aiding machines, we will arrange to place those. Some machines will run 24/7(air scrubber, vapor-shark) and other may run while no occupants are in the home such as Ozone for a few hours.

Post Cleaning: After cleaning services are complete, we will inform your adjuster and yourself of any remain work or replacement that we find necessary. An example is wall surfaces that still contain soot after cleaning will be recommended to be painted. However, the cleaning is an important step prior to painting for the best painting results. 

Billing: It is impossible to estimate the exact time and methods needed prior to cleaning accurately. Over the course of the approximately 2-7 business days after completion we will submit our documents, invoice and estimate electronically by email to you and your insurance company.
